Twelve years of towing for other people taught our owner exactly what he didn't want to build. Crazy 8's Light Service is the answer to that — a small, family-run outfit in Gardiner that shows up fast and treats you fairly.
The start
Driven by experience
Our founder spent more than twelve years towing for other companies across Maine. He learned the roads, the weather and the trade — and he kept running into the same thing: people at their lowest, being treated like a transaction.
A life-changing medical event involving his son forced a hard rethink. He needed work that let him be present for his family and still be there for people in trouble. Crazy 8's Light Service is what came out of it: a business built around being available, being fair, and being able to look after his own at the same time.
